Judas, Athena, Zelda, Luka, and Arthur pictured here at three weeks. They were born happy and healthy on December 26, 2013 and will be completely weaned with first vaccines and ready for their forever homes after noon on Saturday, February 22, 2014. We’d be happy to keep then until Sunday afternoon if you’d like. Pups are $250 each. As of Monday, February 17, Athena (female) and Arthur (male) are still available for rehoming.

Please fill out our brief Schneagle Questionnaire, then check out the sidebar for the newest puppy pics.
We ask everyone interested in getting one of our puppies to complete our Schneagle Puppy Buyer Questionnaire. This information gives us a good starting place to help you find your perfect Schneagle and to get to know you a bit. The idea behind these questions is that (knowing the pups temperament from day one) we may see different things in them than you would as someone attempting to randomly choose. In this way we may be better able to guide you toward a puppy which realistically suits your experience, needs, and goals. We encourage as many visits as it takes for you and the pups to create the perfect match. So, fill it out and we’ll give you a call or an email. Be sure to scroll down within the questionnaire!

Meet the Parents!

Dad: Merlin the Schnauzer

From Dogtime.com: A Miniature Schnauzer is a breed who’s got it all in one small package: affection, an extroverted temperament, humor, and a personality that’s twice as big as he is. Throw in that walrus moustache and quivering enthusiasm, and he’ll make you laugh every day. With a  Schnauzer in the house, you’ll never be alone, not even when you go to the bathroom. He’s got personality-plus, and whether he’s bounding around ahead of you or curled up snoozing on your lap, you’ll never be bored with him around.

From Ashley: Merlin had me at hello. From the moment we met, I knew he had to be part of my life in some way. As luck would have it I was able to foster him while his family prepared for a cross-country move. Merlin is a charmer who entertains anyone he meets with his arsenal of tricks. He is anything but shy, rarely barks, and is a little cooky. He loves both adults and children.

Mom: Lucy the Beagle

From Dogtime.com: A Beagle is compact, hardy, and an active companion for kids and adults alike. She is merry and fun loving, but being a hound, can also be stubborn and require patient, creative training techniques. Her nose guides her through life, and she’s never happier than when following an interesting scent. Beagles were originally bred as scent hounds to track small game, mostly rabbits and hare. They are still used for this purpose in many countries, including the United States.

From Ashley: Lucy is a snuggler. She’s independent, a little willful, sharp as a tack, and is glued to me most of the time. She’s an excellent watch dog, has become a wonderful mother, loves to chill out after a nice walk, and is not a picky eater. She is also a very clever escape artist (Beagles are!) so make sure your indoor/outdoor enclosure is secure. She loves people but is cautious around other dogs. I think Lucy is an old soul.

The Courtship

Merlin and Lucy met during summer of 2013. It was not love at first sight! (Merlin was a ‘younger man’ and was a little annoying.) But during Merlin’s fostering Lucy eventually softened up. Merlin went everywhere with us and the couple grew attached. Really attached. He is now with his forever family in Colorado and we miss him terribly.

  1. So precious. Love the photos of the parents. Those puppies are too cute for words. I imagine they will all be placed in magnificent homes.

  2. Hi,

We have a schneagle! Absolutely love him but so does my neighbor. I’m trying to find him one but not sure where to go. Not sure if your fur babies are still breeding but if so, please let me know. Not could you help me find someone! He is a single and would love to share his home with a fur baby. I would have had him send a text but I just found your site and needed to make sure I didn’t lose it
